NHArts has a number of diverse volunteer opportunities
and its volunteer force includes young Volunteers can participate in special events such as Savor New Hope - Showcase the Arts, the annual Sculpture New Hope Exhibition, the Works in Wood Show or can participate year round by becoming a member of one of the New Hope Arts Committees that explores broader program areas such as visual arts, performing arts and education. Volunteer receptions provide an opportunity for volunteers to learn more about a particular event or exhibition and discuss current artwork on display. New Hope Arts meetings ar open to the public and volunteers are encouraged to attend. New Hope Arts can always use volunteers to gallery sit, receive and catelog artwork, hang shows, input data, and for "sprucing up” days, set up/clean up for events, and event planning committees. her own experiences. Leslie is the perfect example of the important
role one person can play in a growing organization. Not only is
Leslie an active volunteer herself, but as Volunteer Coordinator,
she also recruits
new
folks
to get involved
and is
always exploring
opportunities for New Hope Arts. She has encouraged her company
to contribute to the organization through their employee matching
funds program
and also applies each year
for a special grant that recognizes employees' volunteer
efforts.
